Daena-Targaryen

So,... my sewing machine finally arrived! The model is: Singer 237 Vintage Fashion Mate and it may possibly be older than my mother and step-dad, which is very vintage and very, very cool. I looked it up online and it should have been between £80 and £200 for the thing without the vintage leather case and the spare parts. Guess what? I bought it for £20 from a woman in my local area and the thing works perfectly! Well, soon enough I'll actually get to making my Dany costume!

So I have decided after about a year of intense deliberation, that I am going to start cosplaying. Sure, I'm not tall or slim - in fact, I am just over 5ft tall and a size 10-12 - but that isn't going to stop me anymore. I've always wanted to do it, well, for quite a few years at least and I have chosen to make my debut at Manchester MCM Expo next year. However, to make sure my costume is ready by then, I am going to start it as soon as I can (when I acquire money basically). And who have I chosen to go as? Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones! She is my favourite literary female ever and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity! Anyway,
